For all current and prospective students!
complete these 6 steps:
1) check key & time signature
2) find all accidentals
3) find the fastest moving notes
4) mark the main pulses over the measure with the most complicated rhythm
5) be certain you know the name of the notes and how to count the rhythm before you start playing
6) go as slow as a turtle with the metronome.
