What have I done recently?
I’ve recorded a sample of Psalm 36: “Your love, O Lord, reaches to the Heavens” for a YouTube video that will include stretches you can do from your desk.
I’ve also traveled 67.2 miles, and a quick trip down the road, to get string instrument training for my daughters, who also volunteer with a church orchestra.
I’ve reviewed some excellent Psalm settings of Psalm 13-16, and began to work them into arrangements for bassoon and piano so I can “sing through my bassoon” this spring at a local concert. Because I was reminded, one of my student’s birthdays is on International Make Music Day!!
I also pressed forward to create plans for a summer camp that will teach young composers and musicians how to create new chamber music! Being consistent can be wearisome, and sometimes you need a break from the excitement all these new possibilities produce. After all this my young artist decided I needed to enjoy a coffee break, so I welcome you to celebrate all these labors by sending me a coffee (use the link below!) if you feel so inclined! I will deliver a beautiful stretch break to you by mid March with the help of my studio musicians and friends.
If you want to donate a coffee to me, I would appreciate it!
